The Queen’s Garden
A Fragrance Inspired by Esther
There are moments when we are called to step into places we never imagined—not because we feel completely ready, but because there is purpose waiting for us there. The Queen’s Garden was inspired by the story of Esther, a woman whose courage, wisdom, and faith changed the course of an entire people.
Esther’s story begins in an unexpected place. A young Jewish woman living in Persia, she was brought into the king’s palace and eventually chosen to become queen. Yet her position was about far more than a crown. When a plan was made to destroy her people, Esther was faced with an impossible decision. She could remain silent and protect herself, or she could risk everything by approaching the king on behalf of her people.
It was in this moment that Mordecai reminded her:
“And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” — Esther 4:14
Those words are at the heart of The Queen’s Garden. FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
Esther teaches us that purpose does not always arrive loudly.
Sometimes it looks like being placed somewhere unexpectedly. Sometimes it requires patience. Sometimes it asks us to speak when staying quiet would be easier. Esther did not rely on her title alone. Before approaching the king, she called for a fast and prepared herself for what was ahead. Then she stepped forward with courage, knowing what it could cost her.
Her bravery ultimately helped save her people.
Her story is a reminder that where we are placed can have purpose—even when we cannot see the reason immediately.
The doors that open, the people we encounter, the gifts we have been given, and even the seasons that stretch us may be preparing us for something greater.
THE FRAGRANCE
I wanted The Queen’s Garden to feel the way I imagine stepping into a beautiful palace garden might feel—delicate and feminine, yet grounded, warm, and quietly powerful.
It opens with the soft sweetness of Anjou pear, followed by the graceful floral character of white jasmine. At its heart, cashmere creates a smooth, comforting warmth, while golden amber adds richness and depth. Sandalwood grounds the fragrance with a soft, elegant finish that lingers beautifully.
The result is a scent that feels graceful without being fragile—soft, warm, and quietly confident. Much like Esther herself.
A REMINDER WHEN YOU LIGHT IT
The Queen’s Garden is more than a beautiful fragrance.
Let it be a reminder that courage doesn't always mean being without fear. Sometimes courage is choosing to move forward despite it.
A reminder to trust the season you're in. To use your voice when it matters. To walk through the doors placed before you with wisdom and grace. And to remember that perhaps you, too, have been placed exactly where you are for such a time as this.
